A home for sale in Colorado Springs Colorado, a story of a bike ride.

this story begins in another town, but I wanted to bring to light, biking through your neighborhoods is an excellent way to see homes.  Furthermore you can go slower, stop for water, and really look at a neighborhood.  While in a car, even with my trained Real Estate eyes, I miss things.  Check out all the homes for sale in Colorado Springs Colorado the next time you are taking a bike ride.

Recently I was up in Longmont, Colorado doing some biking and I happened across an older gentleman who was out for a ride as well.  I decided to catch up with him and have a chat while I biked back to my sister-in-law's house.  Normally I bike out in Falcon and Peyton in eastern Colorado Springs.  Anyway this guy is 71 years old and bikes around 600 miles a week!  That is amazing!  We talked about his semi-retired lifestyle and I was amazed to learn of his biking exploits.  He has biked from Boulder, Colorado to Guatemala, twice!  He bikes all over Northern Colorado and sees a lot from the seat of his bike.

As I biked next to him I began to think of my next post for Active Rain.

By biking in our neighborhoods you can spot new homes for sale.  How do you remember that home while out on your ride?  Take a picture with the camera on your cell phone!  Hopefully you bring a phone on your ride for the occasional flat tire.

Colorado Springs as a community has huge devotion to biking, both road and mountain.  We have many fine bike stores and retailers that can provider riders with everything they need.

Listed below are my favorite places to ride in Falcon, Falcon North, and Peyton.  Some places even have paved bike paths or in certain cases there are old railroad beds that function as bike paths.  These paths can take you to many great neighborhoods where you might find your next home!

Hi Eric,

Loved this thanks...71 and 600 mi per week, yikes! As for seeing things differently on a bike, you bet, love that one too, the same thing for me as running.
