I had never danced salsa a day in my life. That is, until Sunday afternoon with my mediocre attempt. I headed over next door to Kelly's Mission Rock (San Francisco) for some good music and the relaxing enviroment on the calm water. There was the hint of bbq in the air with a light, warm breeze through out the afternoon as the trumpets tooted and bongos beat. A friend of mine was heading back to Germany, and a big group of us just wanted to have one last outting with him. It was great, there were a couple of girls running around trying to get all of us wall flowers to step away from our Coronas and come on out and join them on the dance floor. It took a bit, but we swallowed up the nerve after an hour.
It had been a while since i had been over there because it has always been pretty run down over there. I always was in worry of having my car broken into or stolen at worse. It was just a bad situation over there. I am so relieved that it is coming around in that area and it is being developed. I am suprisingly interested in getting a place there eventually. As long as I have a parking spot, instead of accuring multiple parking tickets!
I know some people that own property in that area and it is great to see that their investment is going to increase because of all of this development that the city is planning.
