We live in a great country, it spans from sea to sea, something many of us take for granted but it is really special. All you have to do is look at a map and see all the countries that do not even have a port let alone ports on two different oceans. The vast lands and natural resources we have in our borders has allowed us to prosper over the years. Couple that with the individualism, drive, and freedom we Americans possess and you get an economic power house.
Our economy is in a down turn and it may be a while before it gets going again. This down turn has effected most of us in some form or another. For myself it has forced a sideways step to keep moving forward. As with many I have driven forward with a new company. I think this is likely a very common thing here in America as many start there own companies or move to new ones.
We have obstacles to overcome, there will always be things we need to do better. In working to fix these issues we should not forget what we do right. We as Americans have a lot to be proud of, one of those things is being able to start our own companies, build our own futures. Some of us will fail, some of us will prosper. But what makes this country great is that we try, then try again until we succeed. That is individualism at its best.
Most of you that will read this post are just that type of individual, you move forward even when the going is tough. I ask that you remember that it is our individualism and God given freedom that allows us to do that.
