Working Hard for the money....

By
Real Estate Agent with La Rosa Realty

I took a customer of mine to purchase her second home here in Florida.  While driving around, we came across a FSBO property that she just fell in love with.  After making arrangements to view the property and getting my commission settled, Mr. FSBO decided I should work 'harder' for that commission that he was about to pay me.  Granted that by no means was I representing him.  He was very difficult to work with but I was looking out for the best interest of my customer.  This was the home she wanted and my job was to help her to get it.  Mr. FSBO felt the ball was in his court since my buyer could not resist showing her emotions for this property - he really put me to the test - one of his issue was wanting to know exactly what he would be getting back at closing, etc. Long story short - I was determined during the transaction that I would never do business with this seller again.  Thankfully, those were only my thoughts, I never said it out loud.  After the transaction, he told his daughter that I was one tough KID (grown woman 35 - w/2 lovely boys!) - He also wanted me to know that he wanted to find another property.  He allowed me to handle the transaction for him.  Basically, I was able to handle everything that he threw at me.  In the end, my customer was happy with the transaction, plus Mr. FSBO was happy too as well.

Good job.  These tough ones are that much more satisfying, aren't they?
