Is this guy angry - or is it just me... this has nothing to do with NASCAR or Chicagoland Speedway

I was considering a trip to Chicagoland Speedway for the NASCAR races being held there this weekend, July 9th and 10th....in checking for tickets I found a very interesting post - I found it humorous.  I also wonder if the guy who wrote it is about to EXPLODE with anger.....Here's the rest of my story:

I checked EBAY for tickets - and noticed many of the ticket holders haven't a clue about what the value of their tickets are.  The economy is in the shi**er.... people aren't spending money on races either.  About 2 years ago I noticed a big dropoff of race fans spending money to go racing.  I was at several tracks and saw how low some of the tickets were selling for and spoke with many fellow NASCAR fans about what races they were cutting out of their budget.  Mine included.  Where I used to visit Bristol Tennessee twice yearly, Michigan twice yearly, Lowes in Charlotte, NC often, etc.  Our racing has been cut to a minimum.

Many of the RVers we camp with have cut back on theirs also.  AND these are people who live on the east coast and usually partake in MANY of the races nearby their homes.

Chicagoland is the closest raceway to where we live and we haven't had the chance to visit.  (It's the closest now that NASCAR doesn't visit Milwaukee anymore....but that's a whole nother story)....

When Chicagoland Raceway opened - tickets were sold with Founders Day seats.  People paid big bucks for the right to tickets each year.  Selling these off to people at the highest bid was profitable for the first few years... now the economy tanked - good luck getting face value.

On to the reason for my post --- I searched Craigs list for tickets and found a VERY INTERESTING POST:

Friday July 9th ChicagoLand Nascar Nationwide Tickets. Two total. Sec 119 Row 15, Seats 7 and 8 bought for $58 each. Girl bought for me for Valentines Day but want to sell. She is mad that I "Hate everyone" so I don't want to go anymore. I hate idiots who don't want to work but love for me to pay their bills through taxes. If you are in favor of universal health insurance and you are a democrat don't bother me, you shouldn't be buying anything. You clearly can't afford to do so and have money management problems. Although wouldn't that be ironic that you would finally be giving me your money, I'd love to see that day. Get a job or education and give me my rightfully earned money back. I can't go to this because I will be working Friday and Saturday on Wisconsin's construction sites for way over 40 hours. I also go to school so I don't become a parasitic leech to those who don't waste their money and complain. So if you want to buy these and can't afford your own health insurance you are an idiot and I DO hate you. But if you work and are tired of cry baby bitches and want to treat yourself to some Nascar, I'd love to hear from you.

This person spent more time being angry about the economic situation our country is in than he spent trying to descibe and sell his tickets. I have heard alot of talk like this lately.  He says "I Hate EVeryone" and I wonder if that means the race car drivers, NASCAR itself - or all people in general?

This post made me laugh, I am not taking sides for Rep or Dem, I just looked at this and thought - this guy is gonna just explode!!

Sounds like thuis guy had a bad day.  One that started about a year ago and never got better.  I enjoy watching a race for a little while, but, I could never go to the track.  Of course...you probably think I am crazy for sitting in a boat for the better part of a day!

That post has me laughing out loud. There are other more productive ways to display your displeasure with our elected officials (Repub or Dem)...like voting them out.

This guy needs Dr. Phil * Not Dr. Jerry Punch * I suspect he no longer has a "date" to take to the races.

I ALWAYS have a date because I watch on DirectTV from my sofa * always have a soda and bath room nearby!!!

That's too funny. I'd call him and offer him $500 per ticket, and after he accepted, I'd say, "Oooops. My other caller just accepted my $600 per ticket offer. Bye."
