Mitch Reames a friend of mine and contractor with Home Depot and I mean with HD has a new facebook page that talks about 203k issues from a contractors perspective as well as answers questions about the 203k that come across his page. Mitch and I were on the panel at the Mortgage Revolution last month and he seems like someone to know if you are involved with the 203k and need a contractor in the southeast part of the country in particular. You have to have fun in life or there is no justification for the hard work and long hours you put in... The 203k is my passion. I love to help people get into a home and get it fixed up all in one low interest loan. This past weekend I took my wife and partner with me to see a client. The client has been looking at this home since she was a young adult and now is able to purchase it with the 203k and there is so much work to be done. It is "perfect for a 203k" and fulfills a fifteen year dream of hers to own this house and get it fixed just like she wants it to look. Fantastic and very rewarding.
