Larry:  That is how it makes you feel...it was a little unnerving!

Mary:  It wasn't difficult at all...I pulled out my handy chicken net and scooped them right out of there.

Roger:  Even more scary in person!  They were all over the place.  This is just one grouping.

Kathy:  Very clever, "laid an egg" but I'm not sure the use of the word "decorating" applies here!

Sheila:  Oh it takes a smart to chick to know one!

Heather:  Confession time - I have a rooster on my very own counter.  It is only one and it is very subtle.  I've always loved them.  Just don't care for collections!

My goodness!  And I thought Elvis collectibles were tacky.  Nice job on creating a new staging term!

Lisa:  Make a video?  I'm not ready for that yet!

Lora:  Maybe it was the horrified expression on my face...LOL!  I explained that the important features would not be what buyers would be looking at, and that all their "stuff" would distract people from actually seeing the kitchen at all.  I told them that the more clutter there is, the stronger the perception that the house has not been well maintained.  The more clutter...the less money they could expect to get.

Kimberly:  It's true...clutter is noisy and actually makes you tired!  It's such a relief to your nervous system when it is removed.

Marchel:  To stop that clucking, you need a stager on your team!

Janna:  A few strategically placed items in the cabinet and on the counter is all it takes.  I don't have a final "after" of this kitchen.  The house did sell in less than 30 days and that is what matters!

Lori:  The "dechickenizer" huh?  Well I've certainly been called much worse.  I kind of like it!

Kathy:  I can't imagine showing the house in that condition.  And they were so surprised when I said they had to go.

Maureen:  It's funny how people get so used to their environment that they don't really see it.  These people had no clue that they were over the top.

Kathy:  None harmed.  Relocated...not sure where.  I wonder if some unsuspecting Goodwill got them all!

Cynthia:  That is pretty scary...we are seeing your dark side now!  Someone's watched too many late night sci-fi movies.

Gerry:  I guess that would be "native chicken american" style.  I don't think it will be that popular!

Ashley:  Very funny!  Thanks!

Sally:  I never would have guessed that this post would generate such word play on the chicken theme.  Very well done!

Julie:  There have been some very good puns here.  I am impressed.  As soon as I walked into the room, I thought of Elaine.  I actually took the picture to send to her, but I don't think I ever did send it.

Patsy:  A couple of new terms:  De chicken and dechickenizer.

Sharon, I'm happy to know that no chickens were harmed in the decluttering of this kitchen!  I loved the chicken pasted (nailed?) on the fireplace surround -- too funny!!

Yikes, I would have had a hard time keeping a straight face when I walked into that room! Or ran for cover......chickens overhead could be as bad as pigeons! lol

Nancy:  They were nailed and roosting everywhere!  Quite the collection.

Marianne:  The comments have been great!

Virginia:  Don't scream!  Sorry if I hit a nerve, LOL!

Steve:  Now that is really funny!

Shar:  I know my jaw dropped, and my response was immediate..."they have to go" is what I said first.

Sharon, isn't it funny that the first thing that I thought of when I saw your title was Elaine.  I haven't seen a lot of chickens or roosters lately but I'm sure they're out there.  Great post and I love the "declucker" comment.
