I have scrap booking caddy in my front passenger seat for pens, keys, lipstick, etc. I can move to back seat when someone rides with me and then move it back to be close at hand.

It looks like it's designed as a portable computer storage bag with shoulder straps, probably designed for the high school, college student type who would carry a shoulder pack.
It certainly looks functionable and would be a handy gadget bag for the car.
I use my portable computer flexible brief case, which is black and looks like a business brief case, so I can carry it when I travel on airplanes.
