After years of battling back and forth, with the City of Moreno Valley, Skechers is finally on it's way to it's new digs in beautiful Southern California. Soon Skechers will be the largest employer in Moreno Valley as the new 1.8 million square foot warehouse will bring in 2500 new jobs to the city. This will be a great shot in the arm for our city that has always been considered a bedroom community due to most residents having to travel out of the area for employment.
There has been some that have avidly opposed this project due to concerns over traffic and the enviroment, but in all reality, for Skechers to bring there North American Operational Headquarters to The Great City of Moreno Valley, is nothing but a blessing to thousands of job seekers in the area. The 1.4 Million dollars in tax revenue to the city even makes this deal even sweeter.
Bravo to all those involved in helping to continue to make Moreno Valley a great place to live and raise a family.
