World Cup 2010 -  3rd Place Winner Germany

Uruguay and Germany gave us exactly what we were looking for.  Lots of action despite the pouring rain.  It looked like Uruguay was going to take the third place finish, but Germany fought back to out score them 3 - 2.

Uruguay played strong throughout the series and can go home holding their heads high... well done Uruguay.

Congratulations Germany, you played hard and came back from being down 2 - 1.

I had a busy day so I skipped the third place game, but definitely looking forward to the finals tomorrow.  From your description it sound like this would have been an interesting game to watch on tv and maybe not so fun to have been there or been playing with all that rain.

It was a heck of an effort by both teams. But, alas, someone has to win and someone has to lose. Congratulations to Germany.

Al and Peggy that was a good game today.  The game could have very easily gone Uruguay's way.  Tomorrow should be a good game as well.
