Many times I get up with the birds and sip my coffee. I watch them come and go. Each has their own agenda such as looking for and finding food, protecting a territory, looking for a mate, building a nest, scouting the land for predators, and enjoying the sun, wind and each other.
I see the same with human beings. But with a big difference. The joy of navigating is gone. The going to and fro is more important than what one sees and experiences while doing it. The journey people take are more and more in their own minds and emotions instead of reality....... and in the moment.
To completely put yourself at rest is restful indeed. By that I mean to come out of your mind or thinking, leave your emotions in a neutral manageable state, and let your 5 senses just experience. In essence....observe. This is your default state.
If you practice observation correctly, you will become a receiver of all sorts of valuable input and data. Answers to questions and problems will come to you if you stay in the moment and allow them to do so.
If you do nothing right, you will do nothing wrong......this says that there is a correct way of doing nothing for each individual. Find yours.........
To lay ones will down so that the universal laws that were here long before you got here can go to work..... is by far the most satisfying existence one can have.
The Hindus claim that the WANTING of anything is the cause of all misery.......that is why they go through life with a cup and one set of clothes. Interesting to note is that their needs are met and they have less complicated lives.
Here in America, we promote having things and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS....is allowed and encouraged. How you go about it is very important. Doing this incorrectly promotes feelings of guilt and loss of joy. In essence, you are robbed of the true-ness and genuineness of what is available to you.....without the effort.
If you practice and capture the essence of what I am saying, you will not need to go on vacations or getaways as you will find yourself vacationing wherever you are........
Who was it that said "unless you become like little children, you will not inherit the kingdom"...? I believe that life is that simple, that there is enough for all and that portions have been put away belonging to each and everyone one of us....long before we got here. Perhaps looking up the definition of the word FAITH is appropriate. Finding yours is a most noble journey and brings not only satisfaction, but closure.
Go about your business...day to day and be more aware of where you are and what you are doing. Observe others and become more of a good listener. Learn to control your emotions so that the journey is more steady and centered instead of huge ups and downs. Think: Less rollercoastering....journey with only minor twists and turns and mild ups and downs. Nothing should be able to disturb you..but instead compliment you.
Doing this promotes an inner peace and allows your true strengths to come out and do all the work. More of these talents & skills and less of you. If you have something to say...say it. If you have something to do...do it. Keep things simple...
Resist the temptation to analyze. Don't add or take from what you see or hear. Just observe.........
Ahhhh, I am watching the birds now. They are not stressed, they sing and boast and do not care who is listening or watching them. They come and go with such a freedom and innocence harming no one and leaving a pleasant experience behind as they do it......
How much more then......can human beings do...if they find the mystery of DOING NOTHING CORRECTLY....
