After living on 40 acres surrounded with hills and trees for the last 10 months I cannot see ever wanting to live in a city neighborhood again. Every morning I get up and walk down to the barn to care for the horses and the view starts my day off on a good note. The property we live on is for sale and we plan on getting at least 5 acres. I love everything about living in the country-the drive, the night sky, the peacefulness, the privacy, and the space. I have always preferred seeing nature over man made things; it gives me an extra sense of freedom. I lived in Colorado for eight years and was always taken back with the mountains.
