Farming Makes Way to More Homes in San Tan Valley Arizona

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Benjamin Realty LLC

In today's Arizona Republic was an article about the last of the large pieces of farm land in the San Tan Valley / Queen Creek Arizona area giving way to growth and development. A new development called Barney Farms is planned. Let's hope for success for them.

As the real estate market has changed from the boom years, there are other plots of farm land in the area that once were flourishing beautiful and tasty crops that were taken over by developers and then before completion the developers fell on hard times - leaving now dead sections of trees and plants and entire grape vineyards.

We wish all the success possible to this new building undertaking and to other developments as they slowly begin to revitalize.

If you are interested in homes in the Queen Creek and San Tan Valley area let us know, we can help you. It's a beautiful area and it continues to grow.

Bob and Carolin I have not seen much building in my area.  I hope things go well with the Barney Farm Development.

In my town the decision was made to preserve the  remaining farms; so funds have been collected to buy the development rights of farmland to ensure there will be open space for the next generation.

Like you, I certainly hope that they are successful.  It is very sad to see huge tracts of land that were once productive become eyesores due to incomplete development.

Carolin,

Isn't it exciting to see revitalization in an area that was dormant!
