Exposed brick walls will never get old in my book. I see this room any my heart skips a beat. This is such a great space in my opinion! Before I get into the room, let me tell you the details. This room was designed by a normal person. No fancy shmancy designer....but obviously some one that has an eye for design. They posed this question concerning their room: "The condo is inside an old factory with lots of great character (12' ceilings, brick walls, steel shutters on some windows, etc.... Although small (only 690 sq ft, I'm pleased with how it turned out. I tried to go for a "loft-ish" look while not going too modern. Overall I'm happy, but I think it might be a little too sterile. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated."
So here are my thoughts. As you already heard, I love it. I just like loft spaces in general. You don't have to try as hard in places like this that already have so much character. All that aside, I do have some comments on the room over all. It is a touch cold. I think throwing in some additional warm colors would make a huge difference. Maybe some yellows or trade the curtains out for some light cream flowing shades. I also don't love that the chairs are the same color as the brick. Other than that, I really do like the space. What do you think?
