Buyers of New Homes in California are eligible for a New Construction Tax Credit. I have been getting requests for information about living in Lake Elsinore. There are several new developers building in Lake Elsinore. I'm going there today to take some pictures and I am really excited to document what's going on there. With prices begin at $190,000 these homes are a great value!
I've noticed Lake Elsinore in the news quite a bit lately. They have a great City Council with Mayor Melissa Melendez leading the way with an approachable style. She offers residents of Lake Elsinore a chance to chat it up, at Local Coffee house, Flour Fusion Gourmet Bakery every 2nd Wednesday beginning at 9:00 s.m.

Melissa Melendez began her four year term in November 2008. I was impressed when I saw her on the news speaking out in support of Arizona's Immigration Reform. It will be interesting to see where Lake Elsinore goes with this.
Lake Elsinore has great topography also: On the East end there is more than 900 acres of natural open space, residents can explore native landscape as they hike the scenic trails. Not far from the community, Lake Elsinore and other nearby lakes offer a variety of recreational options including hiking and biking, sport fishing, bird watching, boating, water skiing and wake boarding. Plus, Lake Elsinore's mile long Inlet Channel provides two buoyed tournament training courses for qualified ski boats. And with Canyon Hills Marketplace just around the corner, you have shopping convenience close by.
On the West side of Lake Elsinore, there is the Cleveland National Forest and the homes on the Ridge have a view of the entire lake. I took this picture of a New Home Development several months ago and now there are homes on this Ridge with the view of Lake Elsinore.
