We Like Gardner, Kansas

We've been doing some business lately in Gardner, and thought we should give it its due.

Gardner, Kansas is a remote but growing suburb of Kansas City. It is 31 miles, or 36 minutes, from downtown Gardner to downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Getting to Gardner is convenient as there are two Gardner exits off Interstate 35.

The population of Gardner doubled in the last decade. During the real estate boom, many new houses were built in Gardner. Thus, it is a great and affordable place for first-time and move-up homebuyers.

A proposed $200 million intermodal logistics park with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Co. would be a huge and exciting development for Gardner.  Other major businesses include New Century Air Center and CenturyLink. The Gardner-Edgerton School District boasts that every one of their schools has been built or remodeled in the past decade and all are wireless.

Olathe, Kansas is only a 15-minute drive on I-35 from Gardner. Olathe is the county seat of Johnson County, Kansas. Olathe was ranked 24th in the 2008 list of the top 25 fastest growing cities in the nation, compiled by the U.S. Census Bureau.
