As more and more people turn to the internet to find what they are looking for so increases the potential for visibility for finding your perfect home there too. Do you also look for open house times and places while you are searching for your perfect new place to call home? We think so.
We have stepped up the marketing for your open house online, and our foot traffic to open houses has increased. We have started to post the open houses dates and times on multiple places across the internet. We also, of course always include a link, if possible, back to our site for more information about the house being held open, and for each home's open house blog post there is a landing page on our site with a great deal of information about that home.
So far, we are posting on my St Cloud real estate website, our St Cloud news paper's online site, Liberty Bank's website for open houses, ActiveRain, Craig's List, Google, Back Page, my St Cloud area real estate blog, Point 2 blog spot, and Localism (which at this point, thank goodness it feeds off of ActiveRain).
Today, we are trying an experiment and posting an ad for a fantastic home for sale in Sauk Rapids MN on the Facebook Marketplace and when it was published we added the open house date and time. (Just as an FYI: At the time of posting the 3 times I tried to put a link into the open house ad on Facebook's Market Place the computer froze completely.) I will be monitoring the results of traffic at the open house on Sunday from this experiment to see if it has an added benefit.
