There is nothing stronger for promoting a listing than the visual - pdf flyers, slide shows, virtual tours and agent gallery. When you have pictures taken, be sure to use a professional - more about this at a later date. Then once you have your photos (as many as your MLS allows) be sure to use them creatively. You've paid for the photos once, now use them as many times as you can.
I always put the pictures I take for the agents into a pdf flyer that is customized with the agent's photo, contact information, banner, mls info and some description. All of our tours include this because I believe that the agent should be able to showcase the listing without my constantly having to charge more money. The agent can print out the flyers, they can email or share the flyers over the net, include them in a website, etc. I always attach the pdf to the virtual tour.
Slide shows are included in our virtual tour. These slide shows allow a viewer to look at the home in more detail without having to worry about the tour getting ahead of itself. Additionally, we can make a separate slide show that can be shared on social networking sites, email, etc. This second slide show has more pizzaz and fun and is targeting additional tech savvy viewers.
Our virtual tours are interactive and built in social networking. You can visit our website to understand the benefits of Virtual Tours to the selling process.
Finally, an agent gallery - don't forget to link your pictures, slideshows and tours to an agent gallery. This agent gallery can be as simple as a free blog site that you update for the agent everytime a new tour is added, or it can be an actual webpage you create for the agent.
There are many ways to creatively use the pictures that were taken by the photographer. Take advantage of all of them. Be sure to use a professional real estate marketing person such as Powervision4Realtors.com to ensure that it is all done correctly and follows good social networking etiquette (a topic for another time)!
Have a great day - and remember after the rain comes the rainbow!
