Good Artists Copy - Great Artists Steal...

Services for Real Estate Pros with Jack Pratt Signs

..then there are those who simply butcher up the hard work put into a new product and pawn it off as their own.  They are neither good nor great.  Pablo Picasso was the one who coined the infamous phrase "Good Artists copy - Great Artists steal".  Though there are a number of interpretations of what he meant, I'll attempt to give my own thoughts and perspective.  I believe that a great Artist is not to be confused with that of a "thief".  Instead, they take existing elements in the world to cultivate them with their own interpretation, in order to create something unique and original.  For example, novelists steal words from the dictionary in order to make novels.  Inventors steal existing parts, mechanisms and ideas in order to invent a product that is new to the world.

As an artist and sign maker, I keep a watchful eye in the real estate industry to see trends in order to help agents find new ways to help sell real estate.  Hmmm... there's facebook, twitter, social media.  How about "Social Networking Riders"?

Social Network Sign Products by Jack Pratt Signs

With the help of Ben Kinney, he and I developed the first Facebook and Twitter Riders for real estate yard signs.  Since then, we've been fulfilling orders for real estate agents, just like you, who want to drive more traffic to their social network sites.

The best ideas come from my clients.  Real estate agents, just like you, who knows what works and what doesn't.  If you have some half-baked ideas that need massaging, I invite you to contact me in helping bring them to fruition.

Sure do.  We can make them to color coordinate your yard signs.  Let me know if you would like to see a free sketch!

This is a great idea. I have not seen such riders. I have not posted anything on FB yet.

Great idea for areas where they allow riders to be attached.  Very eyecatching.  (Naples does not and have a two color sign in most areas).  sigh

Hi Gita!  These riders are a great way to move traffic to your social networks, as well as augmenting your "for sale" sign.  Of course, I would suggest creating a business profile on facebook first.  Download Ben Kinney's "Soci@l" book for more information on how to bring social networking to fruition for your business.

Marcia!  I understand some communities do not allow riders, nor multi-colored riders.  There are alternatives however!  How about a custom sign with facebook and twitter "url's" directly on your sign?  Do your signs communicate your level of service?  We're finding that real estate agents are beginning to embrace all things "social" in order to build their business.  Signs, though they are a rudimentary form of advertising, can be tailored to give your business a more 'cutting-edge', 'technological' look.

If a more simple, one-color rider is acceptable in your area, we can help you there too ; )

Monte,  Oh, I need some of these too, lol.  Where am I going to put all of these cool signs I am having you create? I'll need a billboard in each yard before it's all over with ;)
