Oyster Run 2007 is almost upon us!  For those of you that live in the Northwest and haven't experienced Oyster Run in Anacortes, it is a blast!  Our little town gets converted into a giant party with Bikers, Bars, Beer gardens, Boisterous fun, and Unmuffled exhaust.  It all happens on Sunday September 23rd.  There is no specified time or route to participate in the run.  People even show up at the start of the weekend to check out the town and participate in the pre-run festivities.  Downtown really gears up for the weekend by bringing in live music for the weekend.  For complete details go to the official website http://www.oysterrun.org/  There are lots of links to local information on their site.

This is a very family friendly event.  I take my boys downtown to look at the bikes and of course the people watching is fantastic.  Here are a few pictures of the Bikes and the masses of people that come down for the food, fun and entertainment.

wow looks like a good time.  I didn't know you guys had oysters up there.  I wonder if those are better than the ones down here?

Great photos! It looks like y'all are going to have a blast. Our oyster season doesn't really get going until October, but I'm ready!
