Summertime Vacation

By
Real Estate Agent with Kirsten Realty Tampa Florida

This year I am planning a trip to Salt Lake, Utah, first time this far West.  After attending a wedding, I want to see Bryce Canyon National Park.  Looks like many activities are available such as hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and biking.  So, I am curious if anyone knows the best way to view the canyon - drive, horseback, or biking.  Any information you can share with me will be great! Also, I  will take any recommendations for Restaurants too. Thanks, and hope your Summer has been great.

Hi Sharon, I visited Salt Lake City as a child, and remember touring the Tabernacle, but don't remember anything about the canyon.  I do hope you have a fabulous trip!

I haven't been yet, but my husband has done the drive and the horseback. He says the horseback will make you real sore if you're not used to riding horses.

Sharon - Did you go? I was talking to my mom a few days ago. She and her boyfriend took the horseback tour. Remembering that they are 75, they said it was exciting but they were extremely sore the next day, and the day after, and the day after the day after....

First, I wanted to let you know why it's been so long getting you an answer.  After getting back from Utah, I fell and broke my right arm 2 bones at the wrist, had surgery adding metal plate and 6 screws. Never experienced pain at this level.  Yes, I am righted handed and learning to do everything with my left hand.  Hopefully, after the stitches are taken out this Tuesday¸life will before easier

Utah was beautiful and the photos don't show the real beauty as when you are there in person. This is a  place I would like to re-visit.  My friends and I stayed in Park City which was 30 miles east of Salt Lake City.  Thanks for asking about my trip and I hope all is well with you and family.

Sharon – Sorry to hear about your broken arm and surgery. I can imagine the surgery; I had to watch my grandmother suffer when she fell and broke her hip. I think that was my first experience with Vicodin, and when the effects wore off, well, it was obvious when the effects wore off. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
