HUGE Carp eating popcorn at Lake Mead Nevada

We spend quite a bit of time at some of the Marinas over at Lake Mead in Nevada and it is amazing to see these HUGE Carp eating popcorn, chips and what ever else people throw at them.

There are other HUGE fish in Lake Mead but I think these Carp are HUGE because their diet consist of "Junk Food" when ever people are around to feed them.

The Marinas don't care if people feed them "Junk Food" because they make money selling the food to people that want to feed the fish.

If you ever get a chance to visit Las Vegas try and get over to one of the Marinas around Lake Mead and check out these HUGE Carp!

OMG! Look at all those open mouths at the surface. Just waiting for someone to feed them. Wow. They really are huge.

We had grass carp in our pond a few years ago and it was so weird to see huge blades of grass go from flat to standing straight up in the water, then disappearing. I love to watch nature at work.

Looks like these fish really know how to swim UP STREAM to the happy hunting ground.

Not much different from nature really.  Fish eventually die up stream(s).

Vegas Bob,

I would not like to slip and drop in that water!   Those huge carps look very hungry!   :)

Very cool video and it looks like you had lots of mouth to feed on that day.

Hello everyone and some of these carp are HUGE and they may look smaller then they really are. Every time we go to one of the marinas at Lake Mead we love to watch and sometimes feed the carp.
