The Sterling Woods condominiums in Danbury, CT is located at one of Danbury’s best location. The area is only 1/2 mile, on a peaceful hillside, from the abundance of shopping found along Federal Road, including Stew Leonard's, Costco, Home Depot & the newly opened PC Richards & Son. The on ramp for I-84 westbound is at most a 3 minute drive from the entrance to Sterling Woods. There are two different communities of townhomes. The original section of Sterling Woods has about 85 townhomes built by local developer George Davon in the middle 1980s with contemporary styling’s. Sterling Woods II was constructed between 1996-2000, with 358 units with both townhome designs (even a design with no steps entry & main level garage) & detached country homes maintained like condos.
Sterling Woods is often considered the ‘gold standard’ of townhomes by residents of the Danbury area. Amenities in the original section include a clubhouse, gym, sauna, private pool & tennis courts. In the ‘New’ section, there is also a clubhouse, gym, pool playground. There are walking trails throughout the community.
