By
Real Estate Agent with Brooklynnybpo LLC 189531

I decide that I wanted the nation to know where I live and what better place than active rain.  I have lived in New York for over 40 years. I started my NY visit in the 50's and have lived here off and on since. My recent quest started in the mid 60's and you might say that is when I ot the NY bug. I found that I liked Broadway, entertainment, schools and so many things about NY that I colud not leave it. I have now come to live in a part of NY that has been my home for along time, I like it because it has everything. The place is Brooklyn, the low skyline ever beautiful place. I am going to with picture and stories try to let you see the place I live so that when you plan a trip you might decide to come to Brooklyn. Today I am going to start with the area I live in Park Slope.

Great Post and welcome to Active Rain... the NY bug is hard to get rid of.  I'm from lower Westchester - so we are neighbors.

Harriet - I look forward to your tour.  You always get to know a place better, when someone who really knows it is your guide!  I'm afraid my New York experience has been limited to new broadcasts, plane changes, television and movies.  I'm looking forward to the education!
