Closings in the city of Bellevue was up 29% from 2009 with the average price up 16% from $727,808 in 2009 to $843,596 in June, 2010. Year to Date closings was a total of 559 the first half of 2010 compared to 326 in the first half of 2009. That is a difference of 71%! So, the desirability of living in Bellevue is reflected by these figures.
I know that if I had a choice to move, I probably won't. I know the values have dropped and I can't refinance and don't qualify for a loan modification but I know if I stick it out, the values will start stabilizing and as long as we keep upgrading our house to our liking we'll come out okay.
