With the heat wave that we have been experiencing, it has taken its toll on some of the area farmers. When we are looking to purchase produce, we need to remember to support our local farmers.
A great place to purchase some exceptional produce is at Daryl Copeland's produce stand, located at the corner of 231 north and Cliff Springs Road, about 7 miles north of Ashville in St. Clair County. His prices are great, especially if you are looking to purchase in bulk to do some canning or freezing. Remember these guys are our neighbors and work hard to provide quality vegetables at an affordable price.
