Hi Robert,

So I guess I'll be happy with 88 F today for the high and currently 68 F @ 10:00 p.m. Sunday. The evenings cool off quickly when the sun settles to the west.. Oh Canada!!!  And keep drinking those Gatorades.....  Oh, and remind me this January on how hot it is over there, when I'm freezing up here... LOL   ;>))

We just got home from camping and it was hot as heck in the mountains.  I think your on track with the water, I feel totally dehydrated.

Robert, Sorry to hear about your hot temps in Las Vegas. I would be looking for the nearest pool for an occasional quick dip to cool off, and keep some cold bottled water handy for drinking. Thankfully we've been having weather in the mid 80's here in the Florida Keys. I would hate to see your A/C bill! Hopefully your heat-wave is short-lived.

Be careful in that heat!  We are supposed to hit triple digits this week and I dread it with our humidity it is miserable.  I'll be trying to stay in the A/C!

125 to 128 highs Wed and Thu this past week on the River - I'm out showing property BUT only in the AM. I don't want anyone to die before they can write! HAHA!

Light clothing, cooler with ice and tons of water, straw hat and sunscreen are essential!

Keep the body and head covered with dark loose clothing like you see gardeners do. Move slower than normal. I like to walk at a fast pace, but when it's hot hear in Phoenix, I move slowly.

BTW there is a thunderstorm overhead here in Gilbert AZ right now (a Phoenix surburb) and it looks like our community will get it's first rain.

Ugg!  That is too hot!  Drink plenty of liquids or better yet, stay in side in the AC!

Hi VB, I picked you to make my comment on a blog post to get to my 100,000 point mark! I cannot believe it since I have only been on AR since Nov.09! You have been so helpful and encouraging and so I wanted to make the comment on your blog:)! I have an idea on how you can beat the heat come visit SD! It is only 5 in a half hours drive away and it is 68 degrees outside right now in La Jolla:) Growing up in Texas one thing that always worked for me was to wear white and light clothing, lots of sunscreen, and since you are working outside in one spot lots of cold beer! No, really just get a bunch of ice in a bucket (keep in the AC area) with some wet towels and use them as needed. T

Bob, salt pills, water, the only other thing I can think of is the Gatorade for the electrolytes.  Good luck and be safe!
