Lawrenceville GA Elections July 20th

Please read this call to action and pass along to anyone you know in the Lawrenceville area.

This Tuesday, July 20th is election day for Georgia’s Republican and Democrat primaries.  This election we have the opportunity to vote for a great candidate who is a local Realtor and small business owner.  Timothy Swiney is running for State Representative, House District 104 representing the Lawrenceville area.

-Timothy has taken strong positions on protecting small business (including self employed workers, like Realtors, Home Inspectors, etc.).  He feels that small businesses and self-employed contractors are over taxed and over regulated.  “Small business accounts for over 60% of job creation in the U.S.  We cannot suffocate small business owners and expect our economy to recover.”

-He has a plan to eliminate property taxes and “end the practice of using homeowners as an ATM for government spending.”

-He has made strong statements on illegal immigration and provided tangible solutions to the growing problem.  He has lead the discussion on this issue and many Republican candidates throughout Georgia have adopted his positions and are quoting his statements on the issue.  “Public resources should be reserved for those residents of Georgia who are here legally.”

Timothy Swiney has lead the discussion on all the issues in the House District 104 race while his opponent has played “follow the leader” and only offered political platitudes on the issues with absolutely no substance.

Best of all, Timothy Swiney is “one of us” a REALTOR and will represent the people of District 104 and not just special interest groups.  He is honest, hardworking and dedicated.

“I try to live everyday with integrity.  I believe that integrity is best defined as a willingness to do the right thing, even when it’s difficult and even when you think no one is watching.”  - Timothy Swiney

Tuesday’s primary is going to be very close and every vote will make a difference in the outcome.   I am asking all of my friends, co-workers, neighbors and family to please join me in going to the polls and voting for Timothy Swiney in the Republican Primary.   Also, please pass this message along to everyone you know in the Lawrenceville area and encourage them to vote for Timothy as well.  We need to show him our support and I’m confident he will be the best state representative we’ve had in a long time.
