According to the latest Money Magazine issue Warwick RI ranks as one of the top 100 cities to live in the United States. Now this is not the first time this Rhode Island city has been given this accolade by the editors of Money magazine which says alot about the attributes this Providence RI suburb has to offer for family living.
Warwick RI is considered one of America's 100 best small cities and they rate the cities in the U.S. by particular categories that are important to U.S. families: jobs/economy, housing affordability, education, arts/leisure and health.
Considering Warwick is the only RI city to make this list is a huge kudo to this 'outlier' as the magazine calls the cities that made the 100 ranking. It's anything but an average city and I was just fortunate enough to participate in the closing of a real estate listing I had in Warwick, RI this past Friday. A wonderful place especially for young families to start out in the housing market.
With it's 84,000 plus population, Warwick RI is the second largest city in RI. It is considered to be the location of the 1st shot fired in the American Revolution and there is so much history in this city to enjoy. It's proximity to Providence makes it a part of the Providence metropolitan area. We have the wonderful T.F.Green Airport which is Rhode Island's main airport which has far easier highway access (within 2 minutes) to get to it then Boston's Logan airport.
Notable to RI is it's penchant for villages within towns and cities and Warwick almost tops the list with over 22 villages within it's boundaries. From Conimicut to Pawtuxet Village to Potowomut and Warwick Neck and on and on! Come experience this wonderful community if you are considering relocating or moving to or around RI...and if you need real estate assistance in your search please give me a call. And remember that Warwick RI ranks as one of the top 100 U.S. cities to live.
