Condos are typically oceanfront rooms in a resort on the beach. The main difference is that a person owns the room personally instead of renting from the front desk. The room is privately owned. They may only feature one or two photos for your property and no one will know what it looks like. They may also create only one webpage for all of the condos they rent for that particular resort. You may just be thrown into a group with other people with similar condos for sale.

It is all about finding the right company. You need to find a smaller company, so that your oceanfront condo will not be thrown into a large rental pool, this way, you can get more weeks booked. Also, if you are to rent through a company, you need to find a company who will advertise your condo for what it is and rent weekly to create maximum rental income.
