Are you a Whittier homeowner who is having difficulties making their monthly mortgage payments? Please know that you are not alone, there are many Americans these days faced with the same struggles of making ends meet. Have you recently lost your job, incurred high medical bills, are going through a divorce (and have to split assets), or have to relocate? There is help available! We have compiled a comprehensive list of Government and Non-profit Programs and Organizations that can help you. Please just visit our Distressed Homeowners Service Center for more information. Our Number 1 Goal is to help you stay in your home!

As programs like HAMP and HAFA will not be able to help all distressed homeowners (you have to meet certain criteria to be eligible), a Short Sale might still be an option for you to avoid foreclosure. Besides speaking to a Real Estate Professional, you should also consult a Tax Professional and/or an Attorney to give you advice on tax and legal issues to help you make the right decision. And whatever you do, DO NOT pay for any loan modification services up front!

If there is anything we can do to help you, please don't hesitate to contact us. Shirley and I, Stephanie, are both Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource Certified (SFR) and I (Stephanie) am also a Certified HAFA Specialist (CHS). Besides visiting our Distressed Homeowners Service Center, please also read our recent Blogs HAFA Program for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and "Certified HAFA Specialist" - What is that? for more information regarding Short Sales and Foreclosure Avoidance.

Any questions, we are here for you.

Sincerely,
Stephanie & Shirley
