Is a Home Modification The Right Option For You?

By
Real Estate Agent with Corcoran Global Living - Hill Top Team DRE Lic. #01353034 DRE#01353034

The challenging economy has been forcing many homeowners to ask themselves some tough questions regarding their homes. Questions like:

•      Can I, or should I, keep my home?

•      What will happen if I walk away from my home?

•      How will my credit & taxes be impacted?

•      Why did my neighbor get a modification, but I have not?

•      How do I know if I qualify for a loan modification?

•      How can I avoid being scammed?

•      What is cancellation of debt?

•      Who can I trust?

Finding the answers to these questions up to now has been an even bigger challenge for many homeowners. That is why I have teamed up with the Non-Profit HELP (Homeownership Education Learning Program). HELP Founder Chris Sorensen is a NeighborWorks approved contract trainer. He passed his FDIC clearance and is the creator/lead educator for the California Financial Literacy Program. Chris has been trained by the U.S. Treasury, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD. He is an expert and will offer insight and explanations that you have not heard before. The HELP Program is approved and funded by the Riverside County Economic Development Agency under direction from the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.
