Green Home - The Future for Heating & Cooling

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams CT Realty

We are currently part of the Geothermal "Green Homes" project located in New Milford, CT.  Annual heating costs are estimated at $551.00 and cooling is estimated at on $90.00 per year.  With the uncertainty of energy cost, a "Green Home" is certainly a strong alternative.  Pricing for two bedrooms, two car garage energy efficient homes start at $259,900.  For more information, call (203) 312-9445.

I have a HydroHeat Geothermal System in my home in south western PA; it is great! I know the initial installation cost is usually more than that of a typical home but the benefits you receive far exceed. My home is about 1700 sq ft above grade with a full heated basement, we keep the temp set at 73 and the cost of heating, air conditioning, domestic hot water, dehumidification and humidification run about $60. - $70. per month. When we first put it in it ran $55./month, but just like everything....inflation happens! It has definitely paid for it's self espceially compared to what we would have paid in oil...@ $3.00/gallon. We got our system through my family's company www.sperrydrillinginc.com if you would like more info on their systems. Those who have these systems know they are the only way to go.
