3.8% Tax on Real Estate sales

Real Estate Agent with Haley Realty Group 242220

Another tax for supposedly the top 1.5% of investors. Investors maintain properties, trying to reverse "the broken window effect" This 3.8% tax on investment income is to help pay for medicare or  is part of healthcare reform. http://www.snopes.com/politics/taxes/realestate.asp

Should we be allowing medicaid to pay 10s of thousands of dollars for these scooters and wheelchairs? Why are most medical supplies, crutches, bedpans, hospital beds astronomical in price?

When work is performed on gov buildings, schools, DOT, signs, roads all have outrageous cost but Teachers, Police and Fire Fighters are shorted?

I have struggled with that one too. Those power chairs costing 15000. are ridiculous. And then there is the cost of medication, drug companies make such a killing.
