Unemployment benfits are extended

The government extended the unemployment benefits to help the people who are out of jobs in this troubled economy. This will help them make mortgage payments, buy groceries... keep the economy from slipping further. A lot of people have been consistently looking for employment, with no luck. Hopefully, this will keep them motivated, and soon jobs opportunities will be on the rise. I am also hoping this will slow down the home foreclosure rate.

Anything is better then nothing!  We need to get the economy back on track or else we are going to continue to see many people losing their homes.  It is sad, what happened to America the land of opportunity?  We need more jobs  .....

Job creation is the thing that will help most in getting the economy back on track.  However, for those who are hurting most and unable to find employment, this extention is a blessing.
