Gerry...how neat of you; hope that your board [SPCA] is having good results in placing animals as pets into
new & supportive homes.  Yes, I do believe that this event will be fun as well as informative for all.  We had 9 animals with 2 directly gotten from shelters; 4 from a local pet shop that took in animals from the area & then sold them at a normal rate with the proviso that spay & neuter was required if needed. 1 was a total-throw-away in a plastic bag, 1 being given away from home owner & 1 from our Veterinary Hosp.
Lexi & Bruno [pictured] were from that local Pet shop.  ALL are with God.
Thanks for stopping by b& thanks for your comment.

Barb and Sal... What a great event for the whole community! Sounds like it will be a ton of fun. I am an animal lover, and all of our pets have come from shelters. They're the best pets!

Carra..."and all of our pets have come from shelters"  that is so YOU; how neat!  At least 'now pets'
can meet 'new pets' at this event.  Though that is a good concept, it NEVER would have worked around here:
...purchased 1st cat from the pet shop 'that saved her' & then took the 2nd from the Vet--for the first 3 months all they did was hiss, swipe & chase each other.  For us, it was much better to bring them home, introduce them [lol] and tell the others " OK this is your new brother / sister DEAL with It. Meal time is as usual--see you then.
Thanks for the stop by; have fun with any & all your pals.
