First Impressions Count When Home Selling - Even Bathrooms!

When selling your home, you know first impressions and curb appeal are important.  But did you know that all the photos of your home are important

Over 93% of consumers utilize the internet when searching for homes.  Are your listing photos giving the impression that makes potential buyers want to see more?

If the bathroom photos are omitted from the listing or look this photo, what is your impression of the home?

Needs improvement?

No updates done at this home in a L-O-N-G time?

Wonder what else needs attention and updating in this house?

(At least the toilet seat was down in the pic – hooray!)

And the potential seller clicks away  . . . off to the next listing.

We helped this home seller manage his budget and remodeling for this Salem Oregon home.  This bathroom was updated for under $200 . . . .  and WOW!

Updating bathroms

New counter top formica, tile backsplash, mirror and vanity light.

Small space, but now gives an entirely different impression doesn’t it!!

Clean.

Contemporary.

A space I could live in . . . and hopefully one potential home buyers will want to make an appointment to see!

Have a limited remodeling budget and want to manage it to get the maximum impact for the least amount of money? Our remodeling experiences are a valuable aspect of a staging consultation!

Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer needing some design inspiration or help with product choices, or looking to have the job done by a licensed contractor we love helping home owners create spaces they love.

Hi Margaret,

You certainly did a great job on that bathroom. As the saying goes, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Thanks Karen - LOL - And the buyers are thinking "if it is so easy why didn't the home sellers do it in the past 20 years"!!

Sonja - We all love great before and afters to show our home sellers don't we to help clue them in on what can be done to help sell their listing.

Steve - I think in this real estate market, you have about 5 seconds to make an impression . . . and that puts a lot of pressure on real estate agent's photos doesn't it!  Thanks for commenting!

What a transformation for such a small investment Margaret! And the photos are so important too to show the great room in it's best light.

Margaret - the small investment of $200 will really pay off - The most important rooms to update in the home are the kitchen and bathrooms.  This bathroom looks cleaner, brighter, contemporary, and all around amazing.  Great job.
