Ciabatta Steak Sandwich

Start with one 4lb. London Broil beef steak...Tenderize it. (I use Adolph's instant meat tenderizer from the spice isle)

Grill it ... I like it medium rare.

Grill  thick Walla Walla Sweet onion slices and Red and Yellow peppers until they get a nice brown color and sweetness.

Split and toast a Ciabatta loaf on the grill. Cut into quarters

Cut 3-4 thin slices of beef per sandwich.

Lay a nice layer of blue cheese crumbles on the warm bread.

Layer on the sliced beef.

Add onions, peppers, spinach and tomato.

Splash on some steak sauce...if you like.

Top with the other half of the bread and give the whole sandwich a good press against the board to mush it together a bit.

Eat...with a napkin and your favorite red wine.
