Is the ActiveRain Dashboard Speeding?

activerainBlink and you might miss a featured post these days.  Ever since the "suggest" button has replaced the "flag" for a feature it seems there are a lot more feature posts each day, which I think is great.

The only downside for me is trying to keep up with them on extremely busy days, but I love the fact that I'm catching more well written, informative, "must read" posts.

Do you like the amount of new features?

THANK YOU for finally putting a postive spin on this - there have been so many negative posts lately with members complaining of what has been featured.  Like you I think it is fantastic and I am getting to see a TON more people that I haven't seen before!

Yes I do. I like the new button and the additional "Feature" blogs. I do however question why it seems some receive a "Feature" regardless of what they post. I'll stop crying, but I truly don't understand that.

I like all the new bells and whistles. The AR gods always put a lot of thought into the changes and it benefits all of us. I don't worry over being featured. If you write good posts they do get noticed and you make it to a feature.

Leesa - I can't believe how many more agents are being seen, it's awesome.

Liz - That it is

Al & Peggy - I agree and have been struggling to keep up with features and my subscriptions.

Scott - I think some members have a lot of followers and those suggest them a lot.

Renee - It is

Lizette - I never think about features, I'm blogging for business and if I get a star great, if not no big deal.

Michelle...  it's funny, I was just saying this to myself the other day...  I like it and don't like it. It is moving quickly, and when featured, your time to be watched is limited... but hey, it's a feature, right?  Personally, I wouldn't mind if I received no features and points if I could be #1 all across the searches.. ;o)  That's where the money would be...  ps.. I think some are probably running around suggesting 5 to 10 a day or so... who knows if they even read them.. hit or miss?  lol

You may be right. I usually dont go right to the features. Typically Im so busy reading the people I subscribe to that by the time Im done, I dont want to read more features. :-)  I can imagine more are being featured though because that 'suggest' button is really easy. Although the other button was easy also, now you dont have to write WHY you think the post should be featured.

Jeff - I too was wondering if people where actually reading a post before suggesting it.  There are some members that get featured weekly and if you suggest them daily your chances are pretty good that you'll eventually get the "called shot."

John - I also go to my subscriptions first, which makes it hard to keep up with the features too.
