This summer in Frederick MD is really a hot one. 2 straight weeks of above 90 weather a short break and now another 2 more weeks of 90+ heat. We are stratigically located close to Washington Dc and Baltimore.
One way to beat the heat in Frederick is Sunday night concert series in the Park. This Sunday is a Jimmy Buffet Tribute band called "Sons of Pirates". It is a free concert starting at 7 pm. There have been Grateful Dead tribute bands, Bluegrass, rock and Roll bands. But this is gonna be a great one. Bring plenty of cold water with you and maybe a folding chair, sit back, relax, and enjoy the music.
