When I first started real estate I noticed a trend of those struggling most in our business were also the ones you would find playing games on their computer instead of finding ways to make money. This week I was thinking about how quiet it had been when I realized I was actually playing an online game. My son had introduced me to Risk, a game of world domination and it was quite addictive. Could this be why things seemed so quiet. As hard as it was I told him no more Risk during business hours and coincidence or not business picked up. I always try and keep these words in my mindset what ever I do. "Is this bringing me closer to my goals?". Turns out Risk was not, so my future is NOT at Risk but back to my money maker, Real Estate. Instead of dominating the world in a game I will continue to sell it one parcel at a time.
