Life Lessons

In five years you will be a product of the books you read, the Cd's you listen to and the people you hang around.

I have heard this since I started my sales career.

I have come to know that nothing is more true.

My wife and I are involved with Real Estate.

It never ceases to amaze me that only homes that are over $500,000 have Libraries incorporated into the plans.

I wonder why? :)

Let's start to change today. Most people never read a lick after High School. A great habit to develop is to read a positive, motivation and attitude book for at least 15 minutes everyday.

Most people will say to me..."Tim, I don't have that kind of time". I tell them to buy a paperback book, tear out a Chapter a Day and read it during a break or lunch.

It will change your life!

Change your thoughts and you will change your life.

As a suggestion, I would recommend "Think and Grow Rich", the Classic by Napoleon Hill.

Awesome read!

Hi Tim, Great quotes in the video. A few of my favorites: Any time you accept mediocrity in others, it increases in you! Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Never receive counsel from unproductive people. Don't follow someone who's not going anywhere. I am in business with my family, and we share books and authors constantly so we can grow our business and become enlightened together, move forward and stay on the same page. Thank you for the great post. Best regards,

Thanks Nicole and Judi!

Why do you think they call it the "Boob Tube"? :)

It never ceases to amaze me that the person who tells me they "Don't have time" for anything spend 6-7 nights in front of the television.

It is nothing more than junk food for the mind.

By the way, if you have ever read "Think and Grow Rich" and wondered what the secret is...it is in the first word of the title. :)

I have enjoyed your blogs!  Especially this one.  Many of those sayings are so true!  Each morning you have a choice to make this day something to remember or just another day.  Choices, choices, choices.  As I was watching the video I kept thinking to myself - most of these saying can be backed up with scripture.  Proverbs is full of wisdom!    Thanks for your posts!

Thanks Laurie!

We are all just a product of our choices.

Proverbs, as far as I am concerned is one of the best "success" books ever written.

Who better to learn from than Solomon? :)
