I was getting ready to go to a meeting in my office about short sales one morning when this fellow in the picture above, came sauntering through my backyard. The stars were aligned just right and believe it or not, I was able to snap this photo from my home office window!
As we go about our daily routine it is easy to get into a grind and forget about the wonderful things that surround us. Don't focus on what you don't have or wish you had. But just stop for a moment and look around you, you will see the things that you can be truly thankful for. Whether it is your children, spouse, parents, siblings, friends, a pet, a roof over your head, food to eat, or just the fantastic world of nature that we have been blessed with.
Take time out today to look around you. I am sure if you think about it, you will find many things to be thankful for. Take a moment to reflect upon those things and you will have centered yourself in a place that is very peaceful. You will then be ready to move on in a positive direction that will benefit you and those around you.
