In Both Real Estate and Horseshoes You Have to be Good to be Lucky and Lucky to be Good!

By
Real Estate Agent with Oikos Realty, Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach Florida

We all had a good time at the Jump's Tiny Tavern Horseshoe Tournament in Cocoa beach on Saturday but the heat kept a lot of regulars from showing up. The one thing I've noticed that stands out is that no one has anything negative to say. Your opponent is cheering you on to get that big ringer (even though they hope you don't :-). Everyone is competitive but no one has an attitude and I think that's a good way to be if you're a Realtor as well. Nice guys DO finish first in my book!

Steve and Scotty scoring and picking up shoes. Walker zeroing in on the peg with Gino watching. Gino used to coach Junior A Hockey in Cleveland and I'm a big Hockey fan. I could probably write a book about everyone that comes to Jump's and maybe someday I will :-)

Steve shooting another ringer. Just the guys having some fun.

Steve and Walker were the champs this week and have the trophy real shoes that were master crafted and gold plated (painted?) by Scotty to prove it!

On another note, I sat in with Sunnyland Steve on Thursday and played 5 of my original songs. John Mayer's Music and Stories

Wanda - You're right, it is a civil game with the right people and we should all put a little more fun in our lives.

Looks like you guys had a great game! Who cares who won, right? My husband loves to play horseshoes! He has an advantage over many being 6'5" tall, I think he can reach half way down the pit! (cheater)

Lori - We have a lot of fun and share a few stories. They're all good people.

Stephanie - We care who won but not that much :-) Your husband might not have an advantage playing these guys!

Anonymous (Brent coached by Scotty) - Scotty already gave me heck for saying they were rubber. They are lighter ladies shoes and I thought they really were rubber. I have corrected my description above :-) See you at Bill's party.
