Longmont Historic East Side Neighborhood Garage Sale

Longmont Historic East Side Neighborhood Association is having their annual community garage sale on Saturday, August 25th from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Participants will each be hosting garage sales at their individual homes. There will be many small and large treasures to be found. I've even heard rumors that there will be an RV and a car for sale!

During the Garage Sale, the historic home at 417 Collyer will be hosting a food drive for local food banks. The open house and food drive will be hosted by Chrissy Harrison and Rick Frenzen of ERA Tradewind Real Estate. You can bring your non-perishable food items to the home from 9:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m.

 The next meeting of the Longmont Historic East Side Neighborhood Association will be Thursday, September 13, 2007, 7:30 PM, (2nd Thursday of the month), Longmont City Council Chambers, 350 Kimbark Street.

Chrissy, we did this last year on my block.  It was great fun, but we wound up buying each other's stuff!  We may have defeated the purpose of clearing out our own homes!

Patricia - LOL! I know, just when you think you've got a handle on all the "stuff", there seems to be more treasures to be found!

Kimberly- It does sound like fun, doesn't it?!? I'm looking forward to it. I'll be hosting the open house for my client while my hubby and kids try to sell some things at a friend's house. Good luck on Saturday!
