Speechless Sunday-Snow in July? ... in Florida!!??

Can it be!??

No, of course not. It's just a Snowy Egret :-D  My brother took this photo. And I think he did a great job on this one (except for the date stamp), so I decided to share it. (This is from the bro who took those crazy weather shots over the ocean!) But this one's much more peaceful. And this little guy doesn't seem to mind if his feathers are getting ruffled.

Oh he is a beauty.  That's the kind of snow I like.  The last couple of weeks has been so humid though that the thought of snow was kind of appealing.  Well almost.

Lisa,

Nice close-up of a very pretty Floirda bird. Snow sounds pretty good in these 90 degree temps. :)

I saw a snow white egret today while kayaking, so I know how this bird must have stood out.

Lisa, I agree this is a great shot of a snow white egret bird.  This is the hottest summer we have had in WV since moving here....hopefully Fall is cooler :)

That's a really proud looking bird, Lisa!  When I was in your state in February, it was shortly after the lizards were falling out of the trees.  So, I know snow can conceivably happen there.  But not likely in July:-)

Cool picture Lisa. The title really piqued my interest. Could you imagine the madness IF you did have snow?

The position of the date stamp would allow you to easily photoshop it out of there.

Lisa - Bring on the snow, at least for a day! The humidity is brutal right now. Great photo.

Jenny- I agree. The heat at this time of year is practially unbearable!

Steve, Cynthia, Dan- I thought he/she was quite striking =)

Bill- Yeah. I could have removed it but I was in a hurry. >.<

Diane & Juli- Thanks :-)

Teri- He's very proud ;-)

Rebecca- It's feeling like a steam room here right now. I hate to leave the AC!

Myrl- LOL. I'm always amused by the many people who freak out over the lizards. I think they're kinda fun. Hope none of them landed on you! hehe

Ellie- I think we'd have to completely destroy our atmosphere to reach that point! I don't even want to think about it!

Russel- Yeah.... I wasn't in the mood? LOL

John- Tell me about it! It's horrible!
