Moose Monday - I Saw Moose in Yellowstone National Park!
I was lucky to spot this mother and calf from a distance (near the bottom center of the following photo).
Then they decided to swim in the lake. See photo in last week's post: Moose Monday - Moose Memorable Moment of My Latest Visit to Yellowstone National Park
I had to run to my car and to safety once I saw in my viewfinder that the moose where swimming in my direction (objects/animals may be closer than you realize by the time you stop looking through the viewfinder!).
From the seat of my car, I was able to get the following close-up shot of these wonderful pair of moose.
Let's say that you do not want to be close to a moose especially if it is a mother and her calf!
If you need advice of what to do if you are approached by a moose, check out the following link on what you need to do in the following moose cam video by Jeff Ewelt, Director at the Beartooth Nature Center in Red Lodge, Montana: Jeff the Nature Guy with Moose Advice .
Happy Moose Monday!
