Top 10 Real Estate Web Sites- based on Visits

Marketingcharts.com recently released the list of the top ten Real Estate websites for May 2010.  This list is based on the number of visits to these sites.  Here is the List of the Sites and the % of their market share of visits:

  1. Realtor.com-6.15%
  2. Yahoo! Real Estate- 4.31%
  3. Zillow-4.11%
  4. Rent.com-2.79%
  5. Trulia.com-2.66%
  6. ZipReality-2.44%
  7. MSN Real Estate 1.94%
  8. Homes.com-1.79%
  9. Apartment Guide-1.54%
  10. Re/Max Real Estate-1.42%

While the %'s change monthly and some sites move in and out of the list, the top 6 websites have stayed in that order for March, April and May.  www.Hubspot.com provided me with this information. I  hope you find it helpful.

Interesting stats.  It would be interesting to see the history over the last several months.  I would think that they would have a declining relevance, due to Google bypassing them and going straight to agents.  Great info!

Hi Dave,  I would have guessed that stats ( % ) of the top ten to be far greater.  Have they been declining ?

Great Question Bill.  I'm not sure if they have been declining.  But this list is obviously for the national sites.  In Houston we have HAR.COM, which is the MLS for Houston.  I'm sure this website has a huge market share for our area.  So locally some sites may rank higher or lower then the sites on this list.
