Living in Montgomery Ohio!

As a Real Estate professional I have worked in many communities that make Greater Cincinnati Ohio an awesome place to live.  Since I was 20 and became a homeowner I have lived in 5 different communities and been a proud homeowner in each community.  We are proud to call Cincinnati home and just purchased our 5th home and choose Montgomery Ohio for many reasons.

Montgomery Ohio

1. Great Location: We found the area to be close to everything that we like to do from our Gym (LA Fitness on Montgomery Road and Harper's Point) to our Church (Rivertree about 10-15 minutes away) to our favorite grocery Store (Kroger at Harper's Point) and tons of restaurants in Symme's Township, Deerfield Township, Loveland and Old Montgomery (all just a few minutes away).

2. Great Schools:Sycamore School District is consistently named one of the top school districts in the area.  Our kids will go to Montgomery Elementary which also has a great reputation.

3. Proximity to Parks: We can now walk to our favorite park (Weller Park) only about 1 mile from our new home.  The neighborhood we purchased in has a nice paver stone walkway all the way to the park.  The park is part of the City Of Montgomery park district and features a paved hiking/biking trail, a huge 3 court Tennis Court, several baseball diamonds, basketball, and a  large luxury covered picnic pavilion that you can reserve for free.  The park is also PET FRIENDLY which means that we can bring our favorite pet, our white powder puff Chinese Crested, to the park with us.  If you see a family with a small white odd looking dog stop by and say HI!

4. Shopping:What can I say, my wife does like to shop and you couldn't ask for a more central location for her.  Within a few miles we have a Costco, Meijer, Kroger Marketplace, Bova Furniture, Hobby Lobby, Sam's, Best Buy, Barnes and Noble, Kings Auto mall, Deerfield Town Center featuring many upscale brands, and a hundred or so specialty shops in Loveland, Old Montgomery and up and down Montgomery Road.

5. Home Values:  The home values in the Sycamore School district have done very well over the years.  Even when the market slump started, the older smaller homes continued to be bought up and torn down to build larger homes.  The market has changed and the home price run up has slowed down but the home prices are still relatively high compared to many other areas around.  I will blog more about this topic on a regular basis so please check back for exact numbers.

I look forward to many happy years here with my wife and three boys.  Check back to find more local information and updates.

If you have any direct needs or questions, please don't hesitate to call me directly at 513-732-2720.  I can also refer you to a lender to get a great interest rate on your next home purchase.

Have a great day!
