As probably the only Massachusetts real estate attorney in attendance at today's RainCamp, I had no idea what to expect from the day. In my case, regrettably, it was only a half a day, because a deal which I thought was all wrapped up started to uncoil at about 10:30 AM, and I am back in my office trying to save it.
The three hours spent with Ben Kinney went by in a flash. Ben has a inner calmness that veils his sharp intellect and great sense of humor. He really spelled out what it is that we need to do to get to the next level in social media. My main surprise is how far Facebook has advanced, both nationally and internationally. I, for one, have not been utilizing facebook in a way that will advance my Massachusetts real estate practice, and I need to concentrate more on that. Twitter also receive more prominence.
But, really, the best thing for me was being able to meet, in person, some of my Massachusetts peers with whom Ihave been exchanging comments and posts for about a year and a half. These people became real, and the closeness I have felt over AR spilled over to our actually meeting each other. Couple that with meeting some new possible BFFL candidates, and I would say my 1/2 day was
